And the only way out is to establish democracy but Bremer has not been able to even speak to Ayatollah Sistani.
Democracies are by essence weak societies because they allow freedom and are open to the world.
Fighting against terrorism doesn't mean killing thousands of innocents, but that's what you country has done.
With all the killings and the mutual hatred and the lack of experience in democracy in Iraq, it's quite a leap of faith to believe it will work.
