We could produce an immune system in order to avoid contamination by the turd and let it live its life.

We could produce a vaccine (like an anti-terrorist task force meant for your own country) to avoid infection by the turd.

Tell you what Raoul, Belgium can pick up the turds however it wants. If it invents the majic solution that fixing it I am all for it, whether its a ten foot stick to pick them up pr a turd neutralizing acid, but as long as you leave them laying around your going to eventually step/lay/sit in one. And until that perfect invention is made, we'll just do things the old fashion tried and true way.

That way, the turd will either transform itself or die on its own.

But getting rid of just one turd and leave the others is pretty much either double standard or hiding like an ostrich, depending on the point of view.

Those who are motivated enough to clean up the turds first my virtue get ot call dips on which ones they pick up. Beter get motivated or you'll be the one left having to deal with 'North Korea' or "SubSaharan Africa'.
