You weren't here for a while. Maybe you missed it during the protests when I posted page after page of photos and quotes from protestors and speakers who exhibited nothing but hatred for everything America has done, clean back through the Cold War and beyond.
You might be surprised, but these people just didn't pop out of the ground when Bush was elected. These idiots have been around since I was first aware enough of politics to notice them. Maybe you've been living on top of a redwood for the past thirty years or something. I haven't.
You can make a good case that they aren't the mainstream of the Democratic Party, or even of the Left, but please don't insult everyone's intelligence by saying they don't exist.
