"Obviously I'm working at too high a level of abstraction here."
Yea, it's too complicated for my widdle mind. It's amazing how you hate the evil "intellectuals" but utilize so many of the bluffing, bullying, and bullshitting techniques one would expect from such a villain.
"There is a difference between someone who complains that we didn't plan the post-invasion properly, or that we should have had more troops, or a number of criticisms along those lines; and someone like Michael Moore, whose entire agenda is nothing but virulent hatred."
I can feel you there. I'm not a big fan of MM either. I notice you didn't differentiate between someone who didn't think Iraq should've been invaded and MM. Same thing in your book, eh?
BTW, how is your agenda different? You have a pretty large chip on the shoulder that one could call virulent hatred.
"I have given a number of other examples along these lines, including people who thought that massive casualties would be a small price to pay to get Bush out of office."
Uhhh-huh. My paradox meter just pegged. I'd say most people who wan't Bush gone didn't wan't any casualties via GWB's GW2 in the first place.

I suppose you think I'm a big MM fan.
