Barbarism is apparently also graded on the curve.

The United States is no better than the Islamists.

Israel is no better than the Palestinian terror networks.

Test question:

If Israel and America had had over the past fifteen years only a moderate arsenal of conventional weapons, and the PLO, Saddam's Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Taliban Afghanistan had possessed a massive arsenal of atomic weapons and overwhelming conventional military might, what do you think would have happened? What would the world look like now?

We didn't "kill them all." We didn't "wipe them off the face of the Earth." We could have done so easily. In days. And not lost a single American life.

We did not flatten Fallujah, after the burnt corpses of Americans were hung on bridge beams.

We did not drop MOABs on the mosques filled with Islamic insurgents.

We did not erase Tikrit, or any of the other Baathist-filled cities.

Even as I write this, Americans are dying fighting on the ground in Iraq so that civilians will not be unnecessarily harmed, and that Iraq has a chance to become a real nation again.

Barbarism, my ass.
