There was one small market theater chain (Iowa and Nebraska) that I heard about who refused to show Moore's movie. The owner was criticized by the left for censorship. I guess a theater owner doesn't have the right to determine what movies he'll show in his business.
Moore had every right to make his movie. Likewise, Republicans have every right to point out the lies and fabrications in Moore's movie. It's called freedom of speech, and it runs both ways. And theater owners have the right to show (or not show) movies as they see fit. Contrary to what some people seem to believe, criticizing Moore or refusing to show it in a private business isn't censorship. If some branch of the government tried to stop the movie from being shown, that would be censorship. Care to show evidence that has happened anywhere in the US?
