I'm talking about the lag between when GDP picked up and job growth. If you paid attention to economic reports like I do you would know that this jobs recovery was indeed slower than the previous two you and I remember well. As for the great depression, I'm sure the length and depth of the economic slowdown was worse, but that does not mean job growth lagged GDP growth once the rebound started as it did this time. I don't remember a direct comparison however. I do remember that this recession badly lagged the previous two I remember.
