Robert, I feel your pain. (You know I wrote that with a Bill Clinton accent). It's so amusing to watch you ask a simple question such as naming positives about George Bush and then seeing our wacked out colleague go off on Al Gore, who most of us could give a rat's ass about.
That's akin to one of us asking him to name something good about the administration of FDR (of which there were many) and him coming back with the answer: "Well if Hitler had been president, imagine what he would've done." How in the world has our political evaluation process turned from simply rating an individual's actions to instead some prophetic attempt to cast dispersion on what someone else would've done in their place? Who the hell cares what Al Gore would've done or Bill Clinton, or John McCain. They didn't get the test and NOBODY knows what would have happened.
The Bush supporters in here have gone to the absurd in their arguments. I can only hope they are simply so panicked that all reason has left them temporarily. The other alternative, that the absurdity is truly part of them, is scary indeed.
