What you don't get here....

Larry, what it seems you're not grasping here, at least with other Kerry supporters I've talked to, is that he's our only choice to rid ourselves of the idiot we're currently saddled with. You can go on til eternity ranting about what Kerry has or hasn't done or what he does or does not stand for and to most of us it truly doesn't matter. We simply see the guy as an alternative to someone we can no longer stomach.

In my 50 years of life, I have never seen a president as divisive as this one is. Maybe our country deserved and needed him to show us what abuses of power look and feel like much as the world needed to see Hiroshima and Nagasaki to understand the horror of nuclear weapons. John Kerry is not a perfect man but he's certainly not an evil spirited man. I wish I could feel that way about George Bush but my experiences in life has shown me that people that interact with others as he does are insecure and dangerous.

Do you want this country to blend government and religion as he'd have us do? I think that simple issue, in and of itself, is more than a compelling reason to throw the man out. The man has stated that God told him he's been picked to be president of the United States. Let's look back in history at others that have talked directly to their God and have had devine guidance or at least claimed it. I'm not sure I can think of one of those historical figures I'd feel safe leaving my children with or trusting at the reigns of this great country.

Will John Kerry do a better job? Who the hell knows? It's time however, to find out I think. Somehow I doubt anyone else could do a worse job.
