You said Bush was the most devisive President you recall. Whether or not you disagreed with Clinton is irrelevant to how divisive he was. Personally I liked Clinton far more than Bush on domestic policy and disagreed strongly many times with his weak response to Saddam and Al-queida because I felt it would lead to something like 9/11. I voted for him a second time despite my FP misgivings, but knew he really upset many Republican's. Anyone devisive enough to get impeached ranks pretty high on the presidential scale of devisiveness. The Republican's definitely felt he was taking the country in the wrong direction. I voted for him both times primarily because I didn't want the country going many of the ways the Republican's wanted on social policy. I would have voted for Dole if he put big distance between him and Newt and campaigned as the moderate I know feel he is.
Bush is not irrational or unpredictable. I disagree with more than half of what he does, but I know where he's going and why he thinks it's right even if I disagree. A person that changes his position regularly is unpredictable. That applies far more to another candidate I can think of. That's while I'll vote for Buh over Kerry and any decent Democrat for Congress to reign him in.

Mark
