We've been over this. Afghanistan was not Iraq.

And there is absolutely no way to turn things over to civil law once civil society has been gutted by war. The bombs and artillery are ours.

The Europeans have had very good results with using police to control terrorist activities in their own countries, which are much closer to the action than ours.

If our FBI had been as well-equipped and on the ball as their police have been...

Grown ups pay attention to details. Grown ups are interested in stability and cooperation. Grow up yourself.
