I don't get the part where the cartoonist has to lie about what Kerry said to make what he said palatable

The rewrite history, the ignoring of what Kerry, Kennedy and the rest of the demohacks said about Iraq, we are used to that. Now the spinners have to put words in Kerry's mouth to fool us.
I guess the dems really bet on the stupidity of the American people.
When America wins, dems lose.
