ACLU has no party affiliation

Art Martin — 10/15/2004 9:15:09 PM (archived)

Even though it boasts many members of the Democratic party in its ranks, the ACLU has no affiliation and his gone to bat for cases that involved Republicans as well as Dems. Recently they took Rush Limbaugh's side when a prosecutor wanted his medical records released. Just perhaps, if the ACLU, is taking on cases involving religious displays, they're doing so because the Constitution tells us they don't mix with government.

Nah, never mind trying to embrace that thought. It would require an open mind.
