People cannot start games or graduation ceremonies as they wish anymore, if the ACLU deems the speech they use to have religious content.
That a seasonal creche, put up anywhere, would depend on who has title to the land as to whether permission to display it was correct is ridiculous.
Christmas is what it is, and to censor displays of Christmas sentiment becuase some people claim their interpretation of those displays are offensive is ridiculous. The ACLU is after a Christian-religious content free public space. They claim the right, through their lawsuits, to decide and censor what they wish. They can pose as principaled fighters all they want, but they are cheap fascists everytime they do it.
Children cannot even sing traditional Christmas songs in public school, because someone mught here the word 'Christ' of 'God'. We honor heritages of every part of the American culture, except religious heritage. That is intellectual dishonesty of the lowest order. Respecting and openly expressing religious thought is not creation of a state church or the imposition of religious tyranny. But the ACLU is imposing a tyranny on the poeple, and seems to enjoy doing it.
The ACLU is for censorship. Whatever their motive, they are only for the sepration of people from their freedom.
