And to think Tom, the American Revolutionist had to fight in the brutal winter and many gave their lives for our freedom we inherited. All we have to do is go vote.
I agree that the government should do all it can to accommodate the elderly and handicap so they can vote, but you are right- people need to be responsible.
I am reminded of the Simpson’s where Homer goes and lives in the elderly home. He takes advantage of the electric wheel chair because he is to lazy to walk. He lets the nurses bath him because he is too lazy to get up and go take a shower. He gets envious of a guy on a breathing machine, saying why should he have to breath if a machine can do it for him.
It is all about people being responsible.
