And when you spout your invective and title it "The Law of the Left" and throw in your bogus quote for authenticity you transend bigotry into ignorance.
The essense of conservatism is guidence by fixed moral laws. The essense of liberalism is for all liberals to be able to define the good for themselves. No laws set in stone to weigh themselves down with. Only reason. This is why liberal reason is always buffered with feeling for those attempting to survive under the rule of law. One size fits all is a conservative construct, not a liberal one.
When you have the gall to say, " In thirty years, I have seen almost no exceptions to this. " You are telling me you are either myopic to the extreme or stupid. Inasmuch as I certainly don't think the later, I wonder how well you play the piano?
An attempt to paint liberals as uniformly taking the same position on anything--and seeing no exceptions flys in reality, history, honesty and logic.
Allowing that the Democratic party is the one embracing liberalism, remember some honest words--those of Mark Twain, "I don't belong to any organized political party. I'm a Democrat." This pretty much says it all. And totally refutes your "Law of the Left" and spotlights your lack of real world experience that you exhibit by saying "in thirty years yada yada no exceptions."
It truly hurts me when I see you sink to the levels exhibited here.
