A KICK ASS MAIN THEME (not sung), Transporters from the git go,(SHUTTLEPODS TOOOOOO SLOW!) Phasers and SHIELDS (no phoney charged hull plating) and lastly, the triad of conflict between a KIRK, SPOCK, AND McCoy to fuse the HUMANITY of the series together. BTW, never bought into a first officer that was female...even in ST-OS Roddenberry was prodded to get rid of a female #1..THE BEST IS HISTORY....
