I think it's pretty damn cool that I can pull a phone out of my pocket, flip it open, and talk to someone anywhere on the planet.

And, unlike poor Kirk a couple hundred years from now, my phone has pictures, music, and a lot of other nice features.

Kind of scary, in some ways.
