After leaving this board and studying as much source material as I could, I have changed my position. I agree that the rulings of the courts and judge were fair and consistent with the facts of the case. Both the husband and the parents have acted in what they are Terri's best interests, I believe. Unfortunately, for the parents, Terri is gone. She has been gone for a long time now.
The Republicans have allowed their radical religious element to dominate their side of the debate in this event. This may be the beginning of the kind of slow-motion unravelling that the Democratic party is presently experiencing because its radical left element. Extremists seem to have hijacked both parties and some believe the time has come for action or an alternative.
So, where to from here?
