Well, it used to be that a feeding tube wasn't considered medical treatment or artificial life support.
In 1999 Florida passed a house bill changing a feeding tube to be considered life support.
Interesting is that one of the members of the committee who introduced the bill was a board of director of the same hospice as Michael's attorney Felos who also was a board of director.
