Justice is not in the purview of lawyers. Our system is an adversarial system.

Judges and juries are righly concerned with justice---not lawyers. The concern of lawyers is to advocate either for, or against the client at the bar. Keep in mind the prosecutors are likewise not concerned with justice--merely convicting the client.
