Ever ask an old calculator how to divide a number by zero?
I remember doing that to one in a department store in the late 1970s. The poor thing literally started flashing random numbers and then shut down! Kinda felt like Kirk spewing illogic at an alien computer until it started belching smoke and babbling.
Nowadays you ask a modern calculator how to divide say 5 by 0, it just says literally that you cannot divide by zero. What fun is that?
Remember the old SF story where no one knew how to do mathematics because it was all done by computers? Details, anyone?
