Plaid suit
I put on a tie when I go to weddings or funerals. I have never had a job where I had to wear one, and never will.
I deliberately engineered my career to the point where I am now well-paid to work out of my garage in bare feet and shorts. Other people more advanced in the organization go to meetings, fly here and there, get their names in the paper, have management responsibilities, and have to choke that evil piece of cloth around their necks. I sit happily under the glass ceiling, comfortable down here where it's nice and dry.
