PEP BOYS tube testers and Sat Morns,,,,
Every 3 months or so, dad would pull the back off the old Zenith and take all the tubes to the TESTER at the local PEP BOYS..Little did I know as a 7 yr old kid, it was bonding with dad and sparked my early interest in electronics/repair...ahhh, memories of the smell of warmed up tubes and dust along with the faint glow of electrons glowing on the glass.....PRICELESS!!! try and get that from an X box 360.
