Why, he sat down to dinner! Didn't even go to the hospital to see if his buddy was okay. Probably slept like a rock, took a breath mint, etc... to go see the sheriff 14 hours later.
This shows his arrogance once again and his failure to follow the rule of law. In his world, it's Cheney's rule of law. And none other.
