The sadly comical debacle of Dick Cheney's misfire while quail hunting in Texas is a sad caricature of what the whole Bush administration is about...

One embarrassment or tragedy (or both) after another, til it gets to the point that one is no longer surprised, just disheartened.

Frankly though, I must admit I'm less dismayed about the lawyer than I am about the obscene number of birds these louts slaughtered. Pure blood lust.
