re: dodge ball mode

Buck, you're one of the smart ones here. Try to think.

Cheney wasn't the one shot. He didn't have a heart attack.

What substantially changed in the United States, in terms of the administration, national security, the economy, or anything else because the report of this shooting accident hit the almighty Washington Press Corps a day later than they thought it should have?

If Clinton or Gore had done this, I would surely have made fun of them for having the accident in the first place. We all had fun when Kerry picked up a gun and pretended to be a hunter.

I would not have made up endless dark conspiracies based on half-assed interpretations of what happened. Sure there were plenty of wingnuts who would have--see also Vince Foster and other imaginary conspiracies--but not me.

Now, if Clinton had stood up in front of a camera, and said it never happened...

Clinton's issues weren't about what he did, but about his going on national television and before a jury under oath and lying in his teeth about it. It would have been no different if he had done this about sex, a parking ticket, or a shooting accident. Save the "all about sex" crap for the rubes.

Moveon.org was started specifically to tell the world that what Clinton did wasn't important. That it had nothing to do with how he performed his job.

To have Democrats suddenly dive on Cheney's accident like they are is the height of hypocrisy, especially when they themselves carry similar baggage.

To have you try to act like Reid's history has nothing to do with his comments is ridiculous. Some people here can't form conclusions from separate facts. You're not one of them.
