I used to work for a company that had its HQ in Arkansas. We sent employees to AR (from CA - in this case - and from elsewhere in the country) for training on a regular basis. One of our employees was jailed in AR for an altercation in a bar (he was black and it was a bar that - if he was a local - he would have known to avoid or at least to keep a very low profile at). The altercation (based on his side of the story) was not his fault. And the police were extremely unsympathetic to him. He missed one of his classes because of it. The company fired him.
Just a reminder: Cheney works for us.
I'm not screaming "impeach!". I am saying it is not nothing, and it is very much our concern.
I should also point out that you were one of the folks who used to maintain that the president has to obey higher standards than anyone else. Now you seem to be saying that vice presidents have lower requirements to meet?
