In the case of the economic issue, I simply don't see a real economic gain for the environmentalists. If their goal is to bring down corporate America, wouldn't they suffer monetarily as well?
The type of environmentalist I'm usually talking about is the radical environmentalist. The "watermelon." This does not include all environmentalists by any means. They are basically collectivists who are using environmentalism today where they used "economic democracy" and the "rule of the proletariat" before. The goals are the same: collectivized society under the rule of an elite. Guess who.
Of course they wouldn't suffer monetarily. These people are the ones who plan to end up in the Imperial Palaces. They always do. Forbes puts Fidel Castro's net worth at about $900 million.
Even now, how many people who claim to be environmentalists fly private jets and own several homes? They see no problem with this at all, and when confronted on it, are honestly confused.
