Motivation

I have no problem with a community fighting to keep a Walmart from opening and I doubt that Walmart could bankrupt a community any more than the community could block the opening if it became a constitutional issue.

As for motivation, I hate to be a cynic but I have no doubt that the community is driven by the same motives that have blocked mass transit from the beyond the perimeter, Camelot communities of Atlanta. It is without doubt elitist.
