"It's very simple. The people currently running the Democratic Party do not want this war won. At least not under Bush. This leaves other Democratic politicians hanging, like Lieberman and some others, and it leaves a lot of Democratic voters hanging too, which I'm afraid the Democratic Party is going to find out when the election rolls around. Again."

I caught Lieberman speech regarding the cut & run amendant [on CSPAN]. It was not a long speech, but it was a good speech. One thing good thing about the Left banging off walls is that anyone vaguely rational can utterly dispense with the overly "moderate" speechs which has been pretty staple fare in the past. I'm mean the Moonbats just make really easy to take a very firm position and not appease in any fashion their complete and utter insanity.

In other words the moonbats are serving a very important function [which I sure in future some of these same moonbats will try to claim credit and they *actually* consciously did as some weird sacrificial act- rather than behave in incredibly stupid and insane manner] and that function is clearing out the dead wood- political stalinist level purge which will be legendary.
