We really don't want you to leave, but many have, even if only temporarily. It's amazing that people can find this place TOO personal, too challenging where it gets under your skin, or you feel outrage or disgust or grief.
I left once (or twice). What brings me back is the familiarity of "community" and Robert Shepherds' long standing patience and devotion to this place. People can be really supportive through personal trying times and every once in awhile you'll read a post that is absolutely PERFECT and hilarious and well timed and you realize people are light-hearted and just having a good time at someone's else's obvious expense.
Yeah we take each other seriously here at times, but the best of times, are those times when we DON'T.
