Tom's obsession

We all know about it, and sometimes we humor him and sometimes we jump right back at him, patiently, for the umpteenth time trying to point out where his position is wrong. Tom was here a long time BEFORE he was obsessive. He used to be maniacally funny but he seems to have lost his sense of humor.

For a mapmaker, you're pretty perceptive........;~) Must go along with the job. All of us here tend to get into philosophical ruts; it's a side effect of trying to develop an on-line personna. To some extent, it's a lot more mellower here now than it was a couple of years ago.
We even have love-fests!
Or non serious chat fests where we talk about our neighbourhoods and cars. Even the flame board is pretty tame now. Most everyone's paid their dues over there and taken the heat. It's good we can all come back and start at square one. THE Habitable Zone should be a role model for all virtual societies.

But there are gems of thought all over the place. Little pieces of the puzzle. This place has had some major impact on how I think and act out in society. It's small, but it's well rounded and helps to bounce back other's perceptions quicker and I listen better before making a judgement call.
