Michael, it would pay you to learn who Nick is. You complained at one point that you were disappointed to have not found good conversation here. Well, if it's a conversation about Mars you want, you've been having one with a professional scientist and a university professor, and somebody whose theories on CO2 and Mars have been published and debated all over the world. Those of us who know Nick know to trust what he says about Mars.
My point is, with a bit of an attitude adjustment, you'll find out that you've discovered one of the best places on the Net for scientific discussions.
BTW, it'll probably pay you to learn who I am: I'm the "ubermoderator" of this place, which means that I speak about the HabitableZone with at least as much authority as Nick speaks about Mars. With all due modesty, my advice can help you fit in and have a good time here.
