Jane, you ignorant slut. (If that line didn't make sense, you're too young to read this) Even if all those threats exist, how exactly is war going to stop it from happening? You might get lucky and bomb the one guy who was planning the attack (that's about a million to 1 odds) but more than likely you're simply going to create 10,000 people pissed off enough to plot against you.

Do you walk into a bar and start punching out cowboys just to prevent them from possibly hitting you? You know they're rednecks and have a propensity for random violence so it makes sense under your preemptive planning to strike out first and start busting bottles over their heads. Oh wait, you'd just blow up the whole fucking bar. Of course you don't want any of them to make it out alive so make sure the bomb is big enough to level the place (and any other structures that just might abut the property). Innocents? Hell no. Casualties of war. What the hell were they doing living near a cowboy bar? Must be guilty too.

Hey, this might have some merit to it. You've clearly shown you're a neo-con loose cannon that advocates outrageous foreign policy action. Hell, you might just be the cause of pissing off some Mideasterner to the point where they might nuke one of our cities. From your preemptive policy, I ought to find your house and level it before you cause the death of my family.
