Here's one
Post-Electoral Blues
I take exception to this tedious fool
now re-elected to another term;
refuse to praise his narrow victory
and tremble at the thought of four more years,
especially now that his new cabinet
eliminates advice that won't agree
with predetermined course of policy.
No quarrel within will the White House brook;
no caution, writ or spoken, will deter
his fumbling play at governance, his lack
of forethought, nor stubborn insistence that
"We say so" is sufficient answer to
the questions after absent evidence
which might, if it existed, make some sense.
