Five days into it, Bowser.

Nobody ever claimed no-one would be killed. That's stupid.

We were greeted as liberators in many areas. I had pictures. The Kurds still feel that way, and even in the most recent polls, over 60 percent of Iraqis overall (varying widely by sect) still felt that all this was worth it to get rid of Saddam.

There was absolutely nothing going on five days into the war that would lead anyone rational to conclude at that point that Iraq would certainly fail. It was negativity, pure and simple.

Five days. The liberal media wanted failure before the war even started, and has grabbed at every sign of it since.
