The Iraqi economy
Soon after the start of the war, the Coalition rebuilt the entire monetary and economic system from the ground up, which in an active economy, is the equivalent of changing the tires on a car while you're driving it. It was amazingly successful, just one of many things that did go right that was completely ignored.
