Why do you think the "longer than WWII" point makes any sense whatsoever? The Iraq War is still shorter than Vietnam, the Revolutionary War, and the Civil War, never mind countless other conflicts through history. This is equally meaningless.

Please try and remember the methods used to keep WWII short. Are you recommending them?
