I've also commented in the past that if the Palestinians had used Ghandi's methods, they'd have had their own state years ago. But there it is.
I personally liked the wall idea. It's passive, at least physically, and it has a good record of working where it's been put up. I have no direct evidence that building this has reduced terrorist incidents, but I have noticed a chronological correlation.
On the other hand, a case can also be made that the Palestinian leadership has been too busy shooting each other up to blow up Israelis. As always, the Palestinian people hunker down and suffer.
