One main factor is that violence makes the news whereas any thing rational or normal doesn't. Therefore the solution is to remove the violence from the newspapers and TV. Now, the point is not to hide this violence, but to limit it's exposure.
First thing is to stop showing dead bodies. Have Palestinian people ask this small thing, as in, "please if you care about us, stop showing dead bodies". And "We are not going to argue about whether this immoral or not, nor we aren't asking you to stop showing dead bodies in general, but if it has anything to do with the Palestinian Cause or it's people, don't show dead bodies"

Another thing is stop showing people who hide their identity- same deal, restriction applies issues involving Palestinians.

Another is to ask for equal time at least, or say 90% of time the news about Palestine must be about things which aren't about violence committed.
