This is a Thing Not Science.

You have expressed your opinion on the content of the topic. You are welcome to do that.

You have then gone on to accuse Lindy of posting advertizements, which she has not, and of soliciting business for said discussion topic's peripheral products, which she has not in any greater degree than anyone else has who has ever posted a link to a book, film, or product to support a post. You have also asked her about her personal spending, which is none of your business. Those are all person-to-person remarks, quite different from discussing the topic.

When she told you to leave her alone, you either thought she wasn't serious, or you thought you didn't have to listen to her. She is, and you do. Any concern you have about anyone being bilked can be stated in a less personal way, by warning us all.

(Personal, non-moderator aside: Seriously, considering the history you two have, I wonder that you would think any advice from you to Lindy would be received with anything other than suspicion.)
