ER, you wound me... ;-)

Do I sell vortex generators? Do you see me advocating the purchase of any such device or gizmo?

The truth is you can sit in front of your refrigerator and if you believe it will help you be more positive, it will. Cell realignment and programming doesn't come from external sources, its all internal - via the cerebral cortex, nervous system, etcetera. Sitting next to any electrical device will put you in an emf field, but the odds are such field interaction is neutral or perhaps even more harmful than beneficial.

As for "The Secret", it appears to be just another reinvented version of Kabbala and is likely funded by celebrities and people like Madonna, who have invested quite a bit of money into this old mystic religion.

If someone tells you you can use you mind to better yourself and then shows examples of how to do it for material gain, success, riches and so forth - watch out! "Think and grow rich" has been made over in many ways and "The Secret" film rips off the film "National Treasure" in tone and theme and exploits many folks desires for great fortune, fame and riches.

In that sense the secret is no secret at all. The principles they teach are false. Frequency relationship is not a "envision it and it will manifest" proposition. In fact, often the opposite occurs. If you are a money grabber - and bias this as positive, you will attract the opposite as it seeks to balance the imbalanced bias. The world is filled with folks who want to get rich and envision themselves rich and who remain miserably poor. Even if they manage to attain a measure of wealth, they will remain unhappy and unsatisfied, because they are off-equilibrium on the topic and so will thus remain.

If you really want to be 'rich', money must mean next to nothing to you. The means to an end - and not an end in itself. And when it means nothing to you, you won't want to be rich! You will see and understand how large fortunes become burdensome and a millstone and will again seek balance. Same with fame and all attendant goals. Success, fame and fortune must be seen completely and understood for what they are - material perceptions - and wholly relative to the mind of each individual.

In a material world, materialism matters most to folks. However, the wheres, whys and whats are pushed aside to be addressed near death and by then the benefits of the search are slim.

To be in the world but not of it.

That is every humans true proposition. They are condemned to death at birth and must use their life to discover their purpose and who and what they are. They must master their emotions, relationships and drives and after many lifetimes when they can finally transcend grasping for castles made of sand and chasing shadows, all while harming others and themselves, they will be "in the world but not of it" and soon thereafter be masters of the material plane - and move on to new, and more challenging worlds.

That is the true "secret" and sits right out in the open awaiting each individuals realization.
