The worst offenders on this board aren't married.
The worst is probably miserable because women avoid him like the plague.

I think that men as a whole still see women in sub-ordinate roles.
Perhaps it is easier here where anonymity reigns, that they feel they have the right to dash out their old world attitudes on me.

It doesn't work. I try and be polite, but I can tell you from past experience, if someone gets in my face and calls me names and debases me in ANY form, they get it back......in spades.

And there are several here who tried out the dog pile years ago and lost, and are still harboring ill feelings towards me. Perhaps I made fools out of their bigotry. I won't mention who they are, but I remember.
This is not pleasant terrain at times.
