Is keeping taxes and corporate regulation down worth this catastrophe?
Do you honestly think this is the only reason I don't think Democrats should be in charge of national security?
I have watched their behavior during the last decade of the Cold War, who they sided with, what positions they took, and what actions they opposed.
I have also heard their leaders tell us what they would do if they were in charge now, i.e. give up.
Taxes comes pretty low after that.
Incidentally, look around you, and the country. Look around the world. Heck, even look at Iraq and compare it to ANY other war in our history. Are we really dealing with a "catastrophe?"
