On Afghanistan...
Now we don't have enough feet on the ground in Afghanistan - that should be obvious to even a blinkered partisam like yourself. Question is how do we get more there? As long as we're in Iraq we haven't got the capacity. Other than vigourous diplomacy - sorry I said a dirty word there - I don't know how we're going to get them.
I've got an answer for that one: have NATO actually pick up the share of the load they could if they wanted to.
This gives you some idea of the NATO level of commitment.
