It is hypocrisy but it is also just politics as usual.

It is encouraging to see that while they are ever political they will never follow the defeatist policy of the leftwing nutcases who think we should ignore the threat and treat it like purely criminal activity.

Some thing might have been different under the dems but much would have been the same.
