We were, up until recently when the "insurgents" started.

According to IraqBodyCount, the civilian death toll from insurgents, terrorists, militias, and criminals exceeded that of the Coalition around May of 2003, and, with a couple of exceptions like the invasion of Fallujah, has exceeded it ever since. Numbers in early years show ratios floating around ten to one. As I described in my post, the ratio over the past year was over fifty to one.

We upset what was already functioning and messed it up completely.

What was already "functioning" was a regime that is still far ahead of the war in number of its own citizens killed, never mind invasions of surrounding nations and other things. It's amazing how easy it is to dazzle someone with a flying kite.

LOL And the other 25,500 just killed themselves, eh?

I already explained who killed the rest. Slowly, in fact.
