A starship travelling at 0.1cee
... would be flooded with gamma rays due to the impacting of interstellar protons on the forward hull. Not survivable with any known technology. Even getting up to that speed would be impossible with any known propulsion system. A Bussard ramjet with a fusion powerplant would have a speed limit of around 0.02cee because of the momentum transfer of incoming interstellar protons, the need to decelerate them into the reactor, and then impart the same momentum out the nozzle. And that's if we knew a way to achieve proton-proton fusion, which we don't.
