34 percent Republicans surveyed, 51 percent Democrats. Results are not too surprising. Rasmussen puts Bush's approval rating at 37 percent.
Newsweek is almost the first poll I've seen where the Democratic candidates routinely beat Republican ones.
The current issue of Newsweek contains an article on Truman, which is somewhat ironic in this context.
